Cut Up Moments Designer/Teacher
Sioux
Cutright grew up in Los Angeles, California in the 50’s and 60’s and
continues to love the beach and Mexican food.
She is fond of saying that she definitely has her “Hollywood”
moments. She currently
resides in Spotsylvania, Virginia with her husband Jim.
She is the mother of 3 wonderful grown children and the
grandmother of 4. Sioux
wants you to know that she is a proud granny who loves to share
pictures and stories of her babies.
Sioux has officially been scrap booking for 4 ½ years but has
always enjoyed adding captions and journaling to her photo albums.
As a
former military wife (Army), Sioux was fortunate to be given the
opportunity to live in and travel to many beautiful locations world
wide and has the slides and pictures to prove it.
If any of you have been to Europe and or Asia, Sioux would
love to swap war stories.
Wendy Guizar

My Name if Wendy Guizar, and I started rubber-stamping 6 years ago, when I went with a friend to a Stampin’ Up “workshop”( I had no idea what rubber-stamping even was back then). It was truly love-at-first-sight (or love-at-first-stamp, I should say)! A few years ago, I started scrap-booking and learned to incorporate “stamping” into my scrapbooks. It is the like having the best of both worlds.
I have been recently “experimenting” with all sorts of “mixed media”. I also have taught a variety of classes at “The Cropper’s Corner” over the past year as well as worked in their scrapbook store before their unfortunate “closing”. I am very excited to have been given another opportunity to teach at “The Fredericksburg Scrappers” events.
A few of my future goals include have my artwork “published”, teaching at scrapbook retreats and conventions, and having my art/scrapbook business be blessed for Success!Tammie Partanen

I am a stay at home Mom to two great kids; Kaitlyn, my Sixth grader…..she like her Mom, has her “own way of looking at the world” and Sloan my eight year old is all boy! A Military wife for 20 years (DH is now retired from active duty), we have had the opportunity to live from coast to coast, overseas and few places in between. I am a Scrap Booker, Altered Artist, Rubber Stamper, Sewer, Crafter and a Lover of vintage jewelry and buttons and ephemera. I have never really thought about crafting as a hobby, for me it has always been a passion (of course my DH may disagree, saying it is an obsession). From the time I was a little girl making outfits for my dolls from fabric scraps; to when I was in high school and sewed Cabbage Patch doll clothes to sell at a local craft faire. . . I have always loved to create……no matter what the medium.
I joined the scrapbooking craze about thirteen years ago….then, pregnant with my first child I wanted to start a baby album. Embellishments back then, pretty much consisted of stickers and die-cuts. Ladies, we’ve come a long way.........now, we are only limited by our imagination! I have had the wonderful privilege to take classes and learn from some the creative legends of the industry like: Tim Holtz, Suze Weinburg and Michelle Charles. I’ve never been afraid to think out of the box when creating or teaching, my thought is……..it’s only paper.
Candice Ransom

I have been coloring pictures and making “houses” out of shoeboxes since I was a little girl. I began scrapbooking in 2004 and quickly switched to mixed-media and altered art projects. I was a designer and teacher at The Cropper’s Corner. Like most scrapbook addicts, I have a room stuffed with tools and supplies. The other day I found a cat she hadn’t seen in a week!
I am the author of more than 100 books for children, including the Time Spies series. Scrapbooking Just for You (Sterling), which I wrote and illustrated, is for girls age 9 to 13 and will be on the bookshelves fall 2009. When I am not writing, visiting schools, teaching in a graduate children’s literature program at Hollins University, or appearing at national conventions, I can be found in my studio, messing around with patterned papers and rub-ons and buttons and such.
